Hello,

My name is Emerson Whittaker and I am a planetary science PhD student at UCLA. My research focuses mainly on finding
and characterizing asteroids. My goal is to better understand this diverse population of small, unique bodies in order
to unlock the secrets of the early Solar System and to better defend our planet against asteroid impacts. I have also
done some work on constraining whether JWST will be able to tell us anything about what types of rocks exoplanet surfaces
are made of. Welcome to my website!
